Cabin #4 · Clingan's Junction Cottage

Positive: Clingan’s is really close to the entrance to King’s Canyon so it was great for us. The structure is quaint and has a cafe next door (no dinner at the cafe though) Negative: The room was cold and the water in the sink would not come through warm even leaving it on for 5 minutes straight. It was a cool evening when we stayed and despite raising the temperature on the room thermostat the heating would not come on. Not ideal…

Positive: It was clean and cozy Negative: Te length of time for the hot water. It could do with an insta-matic. Better coffee and tea facilities would have been nice.

Conveniently located cozy spot Positive: The location of the property was conveniently located close to Kings Canyon National Park, which is why we chose this lodging. It’s great that it’s right behind a coffee shop. Negative: The cottage itself was fine but could be better with a couple of improvements - added hooks in the bathroom to hang towels after showering would be great. Also having a hand towel rod to hang the hand towel at the sink would also be appreciated to save the counter space. The WiFi is also very slow to load anything and often disconnected.

Positive: Cute cottage and coffee shop !

Too expensive for what it is. You have better options for the same price. Negative: The shower took extremely long to get warm water ! An important waste of water. We were right next to the trash bins. It was promised the cleaning fee would be reimbursed. Did not happen despite a few follow-up from our side. Very disappointing. Very close to the road, but this is a general problem across the US.
